The Mitochondrial Society ("Mitokondrieforeningen") is a norwegian country-wide union which was founded 8. june 2007. Our goal is to:
- Enlighten and spread knowledge about mitochondrial diseases
- Gather all norwegian patients with mitochondrial diagnosis
- Support patients with mitochondrial diseases and their relatives by:
- General advice and guidance
- Transfer of experience
- Arrange meetings, lectures, and/or gatherings for members and relatives
